    How is this possible?

I first heard THE BACKYARD (the “yellow record” version) on a clock radio in 1978. Changed my life. Literally. Wish I could be in Brooklyn tomorrow. Bravo! Bravo!

Hey you lovely people. What a fine idea to perform Perfect Lives at the perfect locations! We are the people who produced the book of the PL libretto, with two new Ashley books coming out from us this year (as well as the paperback of Perfect Lives from Dalkey Archive). Thanks for what you do. Please keep in touch. –Melody & Michael for BURNING BOOKS

Perfect Lives is my idea of God. I wish I could have been there but I’m in Portland, OR.

Melody– the libretto is one of my most cherished possessions! Thank you!

I didn’t know a picture of me with a mozzarella stick mustache was going to show up.
