Empty Words redux, September 6th @ the Stone

Varispeed is pleased to announce that we’ll be presenting selections from our arrangement of Empty Words, Episode I, at the Stone on Thursday, September 6th at 10 PM. Miguel Frasconi, one of our tremendous guest musicians in the August 3rd performance, is curating the first half of the month and many of the shows will be commemorating Cage’s centenary. We’re pleased to take part in this series, providing our own take on Cage’s work & legacy. We’ll be doing about an hour of material in a similar fashion to the Roulette performance.
